Social Media & Client Success Manager

We’re looking for the next superstar to join our Penrith-based agency.
This role combines account management, content creation, strategic thinking and proactive ideation.

This is a hybrid role, which will require you to work from our Penrith office 4 days per week and 1 day from home.

You’ll be the key point of contact for your clients, responsible for nurturing relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and developing quality written content.
From strategy through to execution and optimisation, you’ll work closely with internal teams to deliver measurable results while elevating the Hive standard.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management & Growth

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, long-term relationships
  • Lead account management across a portfolio of clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention and growth
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, contributing to revenue growth

Strategy & Campaign Delivery

  • Develop and present strategic marketing solutions tailored to client objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams (paid media, web, SEO, creative) to execute campaigns end-to-end
  • Oversee implementation of campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategy and timelines
  • Drive a results-focused approach, ensuring all activity is measurable and performance-led

Content & Creative

  • Plan, create and manage content across social media platforms
  • Write compelling, on-brand copy for ads, EDMs and other digital marketing assets
  • Contribute to creative direction and campaign ideation
  • Stay ahead of trends and proactively suggest new content and campaign opportunities
  • Develop shot lists and facilitate client content shoots with our videographers

Reporting & Optimisation

  • Monitor campaign performance and provide clear, actionable insights to clients
  • Produce regular reports demonstrating key metrics
  • Continuously optimise approach based on data and insights

Networking

  • Represent Hive at networking events, industry functions and client meetings

Proactivity & Ideation

  • Bring fresh ideas to the table across campaigns, content and client growth strategies
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively propose solutions
  • Contribute to internal innovation and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • Happy to work from our Penrith office 4 days per week, 1 day from home (must have a driver’s license)
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in a Client Success, Account Management or Digital Marketing role (agency experience highly regarded)
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including social media, paid media, email and content
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate strategy into clear recommendations
  • Confident in managing multiple clients and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for delivering results
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to interpret performance data and optimise accordingly
  • A natural relationship builder who thrives in both client-facing and team environments

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
